ANN CARLTON BOSE BIO
Ann Carlton Bose has been a mortgage originator since May of 1983. She owned Estate Funding Inc from 1988 until 2009. She holds a National Mortgage Loan Originator’s license and is also licensed by the California BRE as a Real Estate Broker. Mrs. Bose has been a loan originator for Skyline Home Loans, a mortgage banking company located in Calabasas, California, since 2009. Skyline is a direct lender funding $3 billion a year and has over 40 branches throughout the nation. Skyline was founded in 1985 and prides itself in being comprised of decent and caring people who truly take pride in their work.
Mrs. Bose serves all types of clients, from first time homebuyers to multi-million dollar residential properties. Ann has a special interest in working with people in life transitions, including single, divorced and widowed women, as well as first time homebuyers. Mrs. Bose has a special sensitivity to these groups and enjoys working with them. Skyline also offers reverse mortgages, bridge loans and apartment financing.
Mrs. Bose was COO and CFO of the West Valley, Warner Center Chamber of Commerce and is now President. She is also a member of the Executives Support Group for the Jewish Home and is involved in the public policy committee for the American Jewish Committee, a global advocacy organization. She is a member of ProVisors, a networking organization of 4,000 people, and Soroptimist International, a service club with a mission to help women and girls be the best they can be.
Mrs. Bose was the President (and co-founder) of the Los Angeles County Association of Mortgage Brokers in 1991, and was honored as Mortgage Broker of the Year in 1991 and 1994. The California Association of Mortgage Brokers honored her in 1997 with their Distinguished Service Award.
She served as the Treasurer of the National Association of Mortgage Brokers for 1998-99 fiscal year and served as a Director from 1995-2001. She is also a past director of the California Association of Mortgage Brokers and Southern California Association of Mortgage Bankers.
Mrs. Bose was the first chairperson and founding member of the board of directors for the Los Angeles Commission Rape and Battering Hot Line.
She was a Rotarian from 1990 until 1996.
Before becoming a mortgage loan originator, Mrs. Bose was a registered lobbyist working within Los Angeles City and County governments. She started her career as a high school and college history teacher.
She attended Grant High School in Van Nuys, California. She earned a B.A. at UCLA and an M.A. in History at Cal State University at Northridge.
Mrs. Bose lives in Woodland Hills, California with her beloved Swiss Cattle Dog Gracie. She has lived in the same home for the past 40 years where she raised her two daughters, Erica and Emilie.
